Hope To Belief

I might have written more than a million words so far but I have limitless emotions that are still to come out in this one lifetime.

The music hits my ears, soothes my soul

and tells me a message, a sign, a light leak,

to reconfirm the fact that I have it in me -

centuries worth of expression, release

These emotions they are not just from this existence,

flashes of beautiful dreams and goals,

I might not be able to fathom everything -

all I want to do is live, be free

With spiritual evolution my heart became softer,

mind stronger and soul, more inclined,

to every experience that marries my breath -

I am more, he tells me, let go of it

Every fear melted, every inhibition destroyed,

there's just one "Maalik", one energy, one divine,

I am becoming formless with every passing day -

reconnect, the word chasing my seed

Looking up every moment, stars blanket my mouth

a world that can be healed just by closed eyes,

we can do so much by just believing -

I am guided and protected in this belief

Turning this moment drenched in gratitude,

thoughts gliding over so much that I am given,

and now all is left is to surrender -

to make the most of this serendipity

Hopes crashed and rose like belief phoenixes,

little did I know I was more into nothingness,

even when I write this, I am nothing, I am formless -

will you agree if I tell you this?

You don't have to because this poem is somewhere between,

you and me, and your feeling of me and you, is unique,

so as you move beyond hope into belief, please remember,

there's so much within, so much more in losing control
