After a year in the making, we're ready to present you with a brand-new fxhash experience—reimagined and rebuilt from the ground up. It’s been nothing short of a labor of love, and sharing this beta version with you makes us truly happy.

What’s new?

Throughout the overhaul we put a lot of thought into every small detail—both in terms of what you see in the frontend, but also with what’s happening behind the scenes. In contrast to the chaotic early days, this time we built things in an extensible manner, setting us up for success in what’s to come.

At the front of it all, you'll find a fresh new UI!

Simpler, cleaner, better. This redesign is aimed at highlighting the amazing generative art published on fxhash, and making it easier to get around. As the world’s largest generative art archive, it's important to us that things are accessible, and that it's easy to discover gems new and old.

You’ll probably immediately notice that there’s a bunch of new ways to view and explore the platform. We’ll share some more insights about our new design system in the coming days ✨

But, this new version of the website isn’t just a fresh coat of paint. 💅🚫

Under the hood we're running a brand new engine, which means we can start shipping new features faster. It also makes our ecosystem extensible in exciting new ways—particularly for those who want to build on top of fxhash! Stay tuned for more updates about this one 👀

Beta Mode?

We’re kicking things off as a public beta, because we want you to mess around and try to break things. In the beta UI there’s a convenient feedback button sitting in the bottom right corner, clicking it takes you to a form where you can send us your bug reports! Here’s a quick explainer to show you the ropes:

If you find something that doesn’t work, looks wrong, or feels off—we’d appreciate you submitting what you found; and don't hold back with your comments 💀🔥

Once we’re confident that everything’s working properly, we’ll phase out the legacy site and replace it with the overhaul in early Q1 2025, and introduce some new and exciting features we’ve been working on.

In the meantime, don’t worry, the current fxhash site will continue to be fully operational.
