#5TEZCOLLECTION

I contemplated using past collections to create this gallery, but decided to challenge myself by curating something new and cohesive specific to the event. This gallery is a combination of 5 blind mints on FXHASH complimented by 4 newly selected pieces on OBJKT for exactly 5XTZ.

I began my collecting process by browsing FXHASH for generative collections minting within the budget and loved the “variety of [colorful] chromatic combinations” and wave formation of • Randomix • by Stonn (.8XTZ). My next blind mint was • Bohomalism: Whimsical Elegance • by Sodok (.5XTZ) - a minimalistic collection “that marries the artistic essence of [Bohemian] textures, motifs, eclectic patterns, while staying true to the core principles of Minimalism by employing clean lines, simplicity, and a restrained color palette.” The simplicity of both the patterns and palette gave me hope that my mint would be compatible with the colors and patterns of • Randomix #11 • and the hues and shapes blended beautifully. • Circle Study •, a free generative mint by NoWhere_Safe (0XTZ) was next to be minted as concentric dot art in a variety of potentially compatible colors (2 minted to round out my 9 piece collection). Followed by • Logos • by node1618 (1XTZ) - another minimalistic collection in colors I hoped would seamlessly blend with my previous FXHASH mints.

Next, I ventured over to OBJKT to explore pieces by artists I have previously collected from to see if I could merge some favorite styles with my new generative mints. I wanted a bold standout, and the striking photo realism + futuristic elements of • AI Jewelry - Synthetica • by Jules Design (1XTZ) was the perfect piece - from the colors of her metallic blue headpiece (which also mimics the wave formation of • Randomix •) to the structured yellow garment. • Dots#Deluxe • by Ateliê 407 (.35XTZ) followed as the compliment to • Synthetica’s • lipstick, hair, and outfit colors. • Abstract 253 • (.4XTZ) by abstractdiary was the perfect abstract addition to the collection pulling in the fuschia, green, and cobalt. For the final piece of the collection I made an offer of (.95XTZ) on • hen#1 • by qubibi - it’s simple palette and dystopian sand element paired perfectly with the futuristic AI Jewelry.

I love curating art pairings, and this incentive by OBJKT and FXHASH to challenge our skills by creating a collection within a 5XTZ budget speaks to the joy of art discovery on TEZOS.
